Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public access to many court and government records, but LaRue County records are not held in one database. Circuit Court and District Court case records are maintained through the Kentucky Court of Justice and the LaRue County Circuit Court Clerk. Marriage licenses, deeds, mortgages, wills recorded as county instruments, and local recording fees are handled by the LaRue County Clerk. Jail custody information is published through the detention center, while statewide offender, driver-history, and criminal-history tools sit with separate state agencies.
The goal is to make those boundaries clear. A person looking for a divorce decree should not start with the land-record portal. A person checking a traffic court date should know that Kentucky CourtNet and the court-date search are different from a Transportation Cabinet driver-history record. Local record access works best when the office is matched to the record type before a request is made.
What You Will Find Here
- Records pages by type: court records, court dockets, criminal court records, arrest records and charges, traffic records, inmate records, warrants, marriage and divorce, and District Court probate records.
- Office contacts: local contact details for the Circuit Court Clerk, County Clerk, LaRue County Courthouse Annex, and LaRue County Detention Center.
- Search walkthroughs: plain-language steps for Kentucky CourtNet, court-date search, ePay, Ecclix, VINE, KOOL, and detention-center roster access where those tools apply.
- Public records help: practical notes on Kentucky open-records access, certified copies, sealed records, older files, local fees, and when an in-person or phone request is the better path.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to the Kentucky Court of Justice, LaRue County government, the LaRue County Circuit Court Clerk, the LaRue County Clerk, the Sheriff, the detention center, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private records-reference site can provide:
- We cannot file pleadings, motions, or records requests for anyone.
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, jail, or land records.
- We cannot give legal advice or decide whether a Kentucky case is sealed, expunged, or eligible for relief.
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, office hour, portal status, or address remains current after publication.
Only the issuing court, clerk, jail, or government agency can provide an official record or certified copy.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those providers run their own systems and set their own terms, pricing, and data practices. If a search tool leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue supports the reference content, but it does not make any third-party search result an official Kentucky or LaRue County record.
